An unknown vehicle crushed two youths riding a bike on Firozabad Highway on Monday night. Both the youth died in the accident. Police reached the spot and sent the bodies of the youth for post-mortem.
The incident occurred around 8.30 pm on Monday night. 45-year-old Vishambhar Singh, resident of village Khodua under Baldev police station of Mathura and 37-year-old Jaipal, resident of village Garhi Sahaja under Barhan police station of Agra, were returning home on bike. When they reached the slope of Jaroli bridge in Tundla, an unknown vehicle hit them from behind.
Both the bike riders were seriously injured in the accident. Vishambhar died before the police reached the spot and could take him for treatment. Injured Jaipal was admitted to the district hospital for treatment, where he was referred to Agra as the condition became critical. Jaipal also died on the way.
The police informed the family members about the incident and conducted post-mortem of both the bodies. Police station in-charge Anjeesh Kumar Singh says that two bike riders have died in the accident. The vehicle that caused the accident is being searched.
